PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser marking unit capable of facilitating adjustment of balance of a support arm and fine adjusting balance while seeing projected laser beams without locking the support arm. SOLUTION: A laser marking unit is provided with support legs 12 erected on a base table 10 and having a horizontal frame 121, support arms 14 supported on the horizontal frame 121 through a horizontal rotary shaft 13 so as to be oscillated in the perpendicular surface, and a laser projector 20 including a laser light emitting element 212 supported on the support arms 14 and a rod lens 22 arranged with its axis horizontal. The support arm 14 has weight balance previously offset in one direction and is provided with a balance adjusting means 50 for adjusting offset balance. The balance adjusting means 50 is positioned above the horizontal rotary shaft 13. The support arm 14 may be provided with pockets 52, 54 for receiving a weight balance adjusting resin.
