PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take and use a cleaning tool by engraving a slit at the peripheral side part of a sheet-shaped base plate so as to grasp the cleaning instrument through this slit. SOLUTION: As a cleaning tool, a disposable brush 1 is formed from a brush base plate 11 as a sheet-shaped base plate and a slit 21 is engraved at a peripheral side part 2 of this brush base plate 11 so that the brush can be grasped through the slid 21. Besides, a lot of projections 12 are formed on the brush base plate 11. At such a time, the brush base plate 11 is formed from unwoven fabric and the projections 12 are formed on the brush base plate 11 on the side of one surface is while protruding one part of the brush base plate 11. Further, the brush base plate 11 is molded longitudinally long, and the slit 21 is formed at respective peripheral side parts 2a and 2b located on both the lengthwise terminal edge sides of the brush base plate 11. Then, an opening is formed from the slits 21a and 21b and the brush base plate 11 is grasped with a hand by putting the hand (fingers) from the side of this opening so that the disposable brush 1 can be used similarly to ordinary brushes.
