PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly take out sheet pieces in the treatment of a waste solidified material. SOLUTION: A wast solidified material treatment apparatus is constituted of a crusher for crushing a solidified material and a separator for separating crushed matter into large residue, small recycle particulate matter and sheet pieces. The separator is constituted so that a screen 7 having a plurality of stepped parts 7a provided thereto is fitted in a case 9a having a crushed matter receiving port 8, a residue taking-out port 17 and a recycle particulate matter taking-out port 18 and a plurality of sheet piece suction parts 24 regulable in the intervals with the respective stepped parts 7a are arranged so as to be positioned on the upper side of the stepped parts 7a while a blower mechanism for ejecting air upwardly through the meshes of the screen from the parts under the stepped parts 7a is provided. Since air is ejected from below to above through the meshes of the stepped parts 7a, sheet pieces are floated at the stepped parts 7a to be certainly sucked to a suction part 24.
