MATRIX RESIN COMPOSITION AND REINFORCING/REPAIRING METHOD FOR FIBER REINFORCEMENT OF CONCRETE STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a matrix resin composition having high cured reinforcing sheet tensile strength retention and bond strength retention even under 60 deg.C conditions in spite of cold setting type, in a matrix resin composition to be used for reinforcing/repairing an existing concrete structure with a fiber reinforc ing material. SOLUTION: This matrix resin composition comprises an epoxy resin as a main agent, a primary amine-based curing agent as a curing agent component and an imidazole-based curing agent in which the amount of the primary amine- based curing agent is 30-70% based on a stoichiometric amount added for chemical equivalent reaction between the primary amine-based curing agent and the epoxy resin as the main agent and the amount of the imidazole-based curing agent is 0.5-5 pts.wt. based on the weight of the main agent. The matrix resin composition has high strength retention even in the case of being exposed to direct rays of the sun and heated to >=60 deg.C and has excellent workability in spite of cold setting type epoxy resin.
