PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently secure a width of a seat back by mounting a switching operation part of switching an inclination angle between a variable state and a fixed state on a seat back side part so as not to project to the outside with respect to an outer surface of the other part of the seat back side part. SOLUTION: A reclining mechanism for adjusting a seat back 14 to a seat cushion 12 at predetermined angles is incorporated in a seat 10. The reclining mechanism is mounted inside of the cover member 20 by utilizing a space formed from an approximately central part of a side part at a car body door side, of the seat back 14 to a lower part as a narrow part. The inclining fixing mechanisms for setting the seat back 14 in an inclination angle variable state and a fixed state are installed in the cover member 20, and they are formed in a state not projecting to the outside with respect to a straight line connecting the outer surfaces of the other parts on a side part 14a of the seat back 14.
