PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure an emergency refuge exit automatically opened for rapid refuge when pressing force is applied due to torsion or distortion generated to a building wall and a door by an earthquake in the door closed state of the exit. SOLUTION: In this emergency exit wall structure for a building, both joint side peripheral edge parts of inner rails and stiles 3 preset to a building wall and mounted to an opening edge 4 of an emergency exit 2, and an emergency escape wall body 5 fittingly mounted into the inner rails and stiles 3, are made to butt in skew angle end face shape opened onto the emergency time refuge direction side. A V-shape scraped opening 7 is provided on one side of both joint side peripheral end faces, and a freely protruding/receding engaging protrusion of arcuate head shape entering the V-shape scraped opening is provided on the other side.
