PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden on a worker caused by the maintenance such as the cleaning, the adjusting work or the like, ensure the wide content valume of a carrying box without taking up much room, provide the sufficient mounting strength, and prevent damage to the carrying box or the like. SOLUTION: This auxiliary door opening and closing device for a vehicle comprises a base 7 retaining a spring 12, on a carrying box 2 loaded on a vehicle body, and the moment caused by the self-weight generated in accompany with the lifting of a door body 4 can be reduced by applying the elastic force of the spring 12 to the door body 4 pivotted on the carrying box 2 through a link system 15. On this occasion, the base 7 is mounted inside of the carrying box 2, and a part of the link system 15 is pivotted on a rear side of the door body 4.
