PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary joint small in size, light in weight, capable of being easily and inconspicuously fitted and having a necessary and sufficient driving force by arranging the rotary center of a ultrasonic motor in the movable center of a joint as a driving means and providing a sensor for sensing the movement of the joint of a user. SOLUTION: An output shaft 2 for transmitting the rotary force of the motor is provided from the center of a case 1 in which the ultrasonic motor for generating driving power is housed and a holding tool 3 for transmitting the driving power to the user is fixed to its tip. The case 1 can be substituted for a rotary hinge 4 for smoothening rotary movement. A detecting means for detecting the intention of the user is arranged on the output shaft of the ultrasonic motor. The detecting means consists of a detecting means main body 12 represented by a force sensor, a control unit for processing a command from the detecting means and a driving power source represented by a battery. |
