PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canopy opening and closing device of a long truck load-carrying platform capable of reducing the number of motors, dispensing with the synchronization of the motors, and largely opening a rear part of the load-carrying platform. SOLUTION: A canopy opening and closing device mounted on an upper edge of a side gate of a long truck load-carrying platform and having an opening and closing structure, comprises a motor, a driving shaft rotated about a shaft center by the motor, and a link mechanism partially connected to the driving shaft 7 and partially connected to a canopy. An upper part of the load-carrying platform on the long side gate front side comprises a motor and a reduction gear 23 connected to the motor for reducing a speed of the motor and increasing the torque, and the driving shaft 7 connected to an output shaft 25 of the reduction gear 23 is extended on an upper edge part of the side gate from a front part to a rear end of the load-carrying platform or its neighborhood and supported rotatably about its shaft center. A first arm end part 31 for opening and closing the canopy is connected to the driving shaft at least at two spots thereof. The canopy is opened and closed by the driving of the motor. |
