PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject belt designed to diminish or obviate belt edge curls developing due to the thermal shrinkage difference between the substrate layer and the resin layer thereon of the belt, i.e., one-side coated belt or the other side-coated type one-side coated belt. SOLUTION: This belt for papermaking use is so designed as to provide the reverse face of a substrate layer 2 in machine traveling with a resin layer 3, or vice versa, or the reverse face or surface of the substrate layer 2 with a thin resin layer 3a and the surface or reverse face thereof corresponding to the layer 3a with a thick resin layer 3b; wherein cross direction both ends A, B or the resin layer 3 or thick resin layer 3b are designed to be thinner than the central part C so as to be hard to cause a bimetallic phenomenon. |
