TERMITE-PROOF STRUCTURE OF BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a termite-proof structure of a building capable of physically preventing the termite from passing through the inside of a heat insulation material used for a heat insulation foundation and entering a framework and a floor framing. SOLUTION: The termite 6 is physically prevented from passing the inside of a heat insulation material 5 closely attached to an external surface 4a of a riser part 4 of a continuous footing 1 of a building A having the continuous footing 1 executed on an outer peripheral part and a dirt floor 3 executed on a filling 2 filled inward of the continuous footing 1 so that a top end face 1c is approximately as high as its upper surface 3c, and from entering a framework B and a floor framing C. A heat insulation material 8 is further fitted to a lower surface 5d of the heat insulation material 5 through a stainless steel mesh (a sheet) 7 formed of a corrosion resistant material which is resistant against a secretion of the termite 6.
