PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To refrigerate a storage room of a cold insulation storehouse inexpensively and efficiently. SOLUTION: This cold insulation storehouse comprises a storage pit 1 having a bottom wall 3 and side walls 4 formed by a thermal insulation material, a building 2 formed in the upper part of the storage pit 1 and covering the storage pit 1 so as to form a storage room 5, a thermal insulation material arranged over the surface of the snow or ice accommodated inside the storage pit 1 and forming a thermal insulation layer 8, and a drainage pit 7 connected to the bottom part of the storage pit 1 via a connecting duct 6 and provided outside the building 2. Since snow or ice can be accommodated inside the storage pit 1, the storage pit 1 and the storage room 5 can be formed in an integral space, and the storage pit 1 can be formed in the earth, the air inside the storage room 5 can be refrigerated with high cooling efficiency, inexpensively, and easily.
