REMOVING METHOD AND RECOVERING METHOD OF BORON TRIFLUORIDE USING CALCIUM FLUORIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly efficiently removing boron trifluoride from fluid containing boron trifluoride or the complex by an economical means free from environmental pollution and an method for recovering reutilizable boron trifluoride. SOLUTION: A removing method of boron trifluoride comprises allowing a fluid containing boron trifluoride or the complex to contact with calcium fluoride at <=200 deg.C, and the recovering method of boron trifluoride is executed by heating calcium tetrafluoroborate formed by the removing method to 100-600 deg.C to obtain boron trifluoride and calcium fluoride.
