PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a pocket capable of preventing the outflow of the excrement flowing therein by relatively simple means. SOLUTION: This throw-away wearing article 1 is composed of a top sheet 2 and a back sheet 3 and cores 4 interposed between both sheets 2 and 3 and has front and rear girth areas 20 and 22 and a groin area 21 and side flaps 5 which have a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction, extend outward in the transverse direction from both side edges 4a of the cores 4 and are mounted with elastic members. The side flaps 5 are bent to the inner side of the article 1 and are delineated to first portions 5a and second portions 5b existing above the first portions. The first portions 5a and the second portions are parted to face each other in the longitudinal direction and are joined to each other in a pair of sealing parts 6a inclining in such a manner that the opposite spacings expand gradually from the inner side toward the outer side of the article 1. First and second elastic members 7 and 8 extending in the longitudinal direction are mounted in an elongated state as elastic members to the first portions and the second portions.
