PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a set block mounting structure free of disorder caused by dislocating of the mounting position. SOLUTION: A member made from sheet metal comprises a plane portion and legs formed by folding the two ends of the plane portion including a locating plate L provided with a bolt insert hole for a torque converter mounting bolt (b) positioned approx. in the center of the plane portion and a set block SB having a flat oversurface and provided with a bolt hole for the bolt (b) approx. in the center of the oversurface vertically to the oversurface, and the leg of the locating plate L is fixed to a front cover F on the inside and outside viewed diameterically about the torque converter so that the locating plate L is fixed to the front cover F is the condition that a gap is reserved between the plane portion and the front cover F, and in this gap the set block SB is installed movably.
