摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a vacuum generating device by providing an air intake port in a casing of the vacuum generating device and allowing air into the casing from the outside through the air intake port. SOLUTION: An air intake port 6 is provided in a casing of a vacuum generating device 2 to allow outside air into the casing for cooling. When air is allowed into the casing through the air intake port 6, air pressure inside the casing builds up. The movement of this air then properly transfers coolant to a mist catcher/noise deadening water tank 12. As an example of a means of introducing air to the air intake port 6, an air sending pipe 35 of an air regulating device 30 is connected to the air intake port 6 so that chilled air discharged from the air regulating device 30 can be introduced. This efficiently cools the inside of the casing. This allows a highly decompressed state to be retained for an extended period of time, allowing a suction operation to be performed efficiently.
