PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top cover facilitating the threading operation of a fishline through an internally threading rod. SOLUTION: This top cover 10 has a cover body 11 with a cylindrical shape, an engaging projection 12 installed in the outer peripheral surface at the butt side of the cover body 11, and a rubber strap 13 arranged at the butt side of the cover body 11. A rubber member 14 is stuck on the tip side of the cover body 11 so as to cover the side end face of the tip. The rubber member 14 is protruded at the neighbor of the center to the tip side to provide a protruding part 14a. The point of a threading tool is picked through the rubber member 14, and the threading tool is pulled out from the tip side with the top cover 10 when the fishline-threading operation is carried out.
