摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a vegetation mat maintaining desired mat rigidity and simultaneously not inhibiting the growth of plants by using a doubly woven structure in which an arbitrary space is formed between upper and lower specific ground tissues. SOLUTION: This vegetation mat comprises a doubly woven structure in which an upper ground tissue 3 having a small density and a lower ground tissue 6 having a large density are linked by using linking fibers 7 to form a prescribed space (h) between the upper and lower ground tissues. Therein, it is preferable that at least one of the upper and lower ground tissues is formed from biodegradable fibers. The warp density of the ground tissue is preferably increased in response to a linked portion where the linking fibers 7 are woven in the ground tissue, and it is preferable that a reinforcing portion where the weft density of the ground tissue is increased in response to a transfer portion in which the linking fibers 7 are transferred from one of the ground tissues to the other is disposed.
