PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably foam so that refractory performance is achieved to a maximum limit and to suppress a thermal influence to an FRP material to a minimum limit by providing a low temperature foamable refractory substance on at least one surface of the material, and covering the substance with a metal thin film. SOLUTION: A refractory substance 1 made of an FRP has a structure in which an FRP material 2 made of an FRP veneer, a layer of a low temperature foamable refractory substance 3 fixed to one side surface of the material 2 and a metal thin film 4 are provided so that the substance 3 is covered with the film 4. The film 4 is formed in a structure in which in the case of foaming to bulge the substance 3, the substance 3 is formed developabley in its bulging direction. Thus, this can be easily developed in a shape without operating an unnatural tensile stress or the like at the film itself. An edge of the film is fixed to the material to thereby enclose the substance with the developed film during or after foaming. |
