PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spike made of a synthetic resin for sporting shoes which is light in weight and is excellent in compressive strength, fatigue strength and wear resistance. SOLUTION: This spike is manufactured of a reinforced resin composition containing. 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic polyimide A, 30 to 80 pts.wt. at least one kind of the resins B selected from polyetherether ketone, polyether ketone and polyether sulfone as well as 20 to 50 wt.% reinforcing fibers C with respect to the total amount. of A+B+C of the synthetic resins A+B and the reinforcing fibers C. In terms of a shape, the spike consists of a base part 1 and a non-slip part 2. The rising part 3 of the non-slip part 2 is a fillet structure exhibiting a recessed curve and rises from the base part 1. The flanks 2a and 2a', and 2b and 2b' of the non-slip part 2 are formed to a tapered structure inclining to the inner side from each other from the rising part 3 to the front end 2c. |
