PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a difference of color tones from being conspicuous by setting a boundary position between a first print area and a second print area to be a pixel of a smaller value expressing each color component than a first threshold value and switching from a first print head to a second print head at the set boundary position. SOLUTION: A first print head 106 is set to a first start position and subsequently a second print head 107 is moved to a second start position. Thereafter, a boundary position between a first print are printed by the first print head 106 and a second print area printed by the second print head 107 is set to be a pixel of a smaller value expressing each color component of yellow, magenta, cyan and black in a pixel array in a main scan direction (X direction) than a first threshold value. Printing by the first print head 106 is switched to printing by the second print head 107 at the set boundary position. |
