PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape-shaped article cutting device for correcting and cutting a tape-shaped article in the regular delivering direction without creasing the tape-shaped article inclined in relation to the delivering direction. SOLUTION: When an edge confirming means (a linear sensor) 7 confirms that a tape-shaped article 101 is inclined in relation to the delivering direction, the tape-shaped article is separated from an upper feeding roller 5 out of feeding rollers 5, 5 so as to release pinching. After a vacuum mechanism 4 half sucks the tape-shaped article 101, the tape-shaped article is controlled movably in a direction perpendicular to the delivering direction or aθdirection until the edge on the long side of the tape-shaped article 101 is detected, and the inclination of the tape-shaped article 101 is corrected.
