PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed a photosensitive material with high precision by means of a main feeding roller without forming any loop in a recording medium by allowing increase in speed accordingly by friction with the recording medium when a running speed of the recording medium exceeds a driving peripheral speed. SOLUTION: A photosensitive material P fed by means of a main feeding roller 3 is directed to a recovery roller 4 side with its flexibility kept low, if its rigidity is considerably high, for example. Therefore, when the photosensitive material P is nipped between the recovery roller 4 and an auxiliary roller 5 at a speed equivalent to a peripheral speed of the main feeding roller 3, a previously set difference of a peripheral speed between the main feeding roller 3 and the recovery roller 4 generates directly between the photosensitive material P and the circumferential face of the recovery roller 4. Contrarily, as a supporting shaft 4a is connected to a driving pulley 8 by means of a one-way clutch 8c, the supporting shaft 4a slips as against the driving pulley 8 rotating at a constant speed and speeds up so that its peripheral speed matches the running speed of the photosensitive material P.
