PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ridge ventilation structure, which can obtain a sufficient amount of ventilation, prevent the infiltration of rainwater into an attic space even when the ridge ventilation structure is applied to a roofing material having irregularities in a surface such as a corrugated tile, and is free of trouble even in the installation of a ridge tile. SOLUTION: A ventilating cylinder 3A, which is opened in the vertical direction along a ridge and in which a back board piece 36 is formed on the outside of an upper edge section and a fixing piece 35 is installed on the outside of a lower edge section, is mounted on an air gap 2 formed in the ridge section of a roof foundation material 1 in a series extending over the approximately overall length of the ridge, and the upper section of the ventilating cylinder 3A is convered by forming an air gap 4 between the ventilating cylinder 3A and a cover body 3B by the cover body 3B with a to-face board 37 formed in an approximately chevron-shaped or approximately arcuate cross section and a pair of drooping pieces 38 extended to lower sections from the both side edge of the top-face board 37. Coping 7 are annexed near edge sections on the ridge side of a roofing material 5 roofed up to the upper section of the above-mentioned fixing piece 35 through ridge sealing strips 6, a ridge covering material 8 is fitted while forming an air gap 9 among the ridge covering material 8 and the copings 7, and the above-mentioned cover body 3B is covered.
