PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of high solidification by combined use of a hydrolyzable silyl group-contg. vinyl resin with a hydroxyl group-contg. resin and by including a catalyst as well. SOLUTION: This two-pack coating composition is such one as to be previously separatedly composed of a composition comprising (A) a hydrolyzable silyl group-contg. vinyl resin >=8,000 in weight-average molecular weight, (B) a hydroxyl group-contg. resin <=8,000 in weight-average molecular weight, and (C) a catalyst (pref. a phosphoric ester-based one) and (D) a polyisocyanate compound, and used through mixing them together just before use, wherein it is preferable that the contents of the components A and B are at 10-90 wt.% and 90-10 wt.% based on the total solid content of the components A and B, respectively, and the component C at 0.5-5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the components A and B calculated as solid content. Thereby, the solid content of the coating film afforded by the application of this composition can be brought to >=55 wt.%, attaining high solidification, and therefore promising contribution to resources saving and pollution control.
