PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sufficient base isolating effect in the horizontal and the vertical directions while obtaining the sufficient restoring force by providing an air chamber formed by filling the air in a bottom part of a structure, and dividing this air chamber into plural parts in the horizontal direction with plural partitioning walls. SOLUTION: A structure 1 is floated in a storage vessel 2 filled with the fluid 3 such as water. The bottom part of the structure 1 is provided with an air chamber 11. The air chamber is divided into four parts in the cross direction and in the depth direction, namely, into 16 parts in total by partitioning walls 12. With this structure, the air chamber 11 is divided in point symmetry in relation to the center of the structure 1, and high restoring force close to the case of the number of division∞can be obtained. Thickness of each partitioning wall 12 of the floating structure 1 is formed thin, and a ratio of the flat surface area of the air chamber 11 in relation to the flat surface area of the bottom part is set at 0.2 or more so as to reduce the sunken part of the floating body, and the base isolating effect of the float is improved. Resonance cycle of the structure 1 and the air chamber 11 can be changed so as to reduce the generation of vibration at the time of resonance by changing a distance from a top part of each 13 of each chamber 13 of the air chamber 11 to the fluid level.
