PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance attachability and an anti-theft property for an outer mirror, and to reduce management man hours. SOLUTION: This outer mirror comprises a base 22 supported to an outer panel 2 of a door, a mirror housing 6 supported to the base 22 from a vertical direction via a pivot shaft, and a mirror body 11 supported to a surface opening of the mirror housing 6. The base 22 is integrally formed with a fixing part supported to a face of the outer panel 2 from a direction substantially perpendicular to the face, a housing supporting part 24 supported to the mirror housing 6 from a diagonal direction, and a cover part 25 for covering the fixing part and the housing supporting part 24.
