PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving sheet for receiving a thermally diffusive dye having no fading, no bleeding, excellent glossness, high dye acceptive properties and good image preservability. SOLUTION: The image receiving sheet comprises an image receiving layer containing a metal ion-containing compound capable of forming a chelate with a thermally diffusive dye and an acrylic resin having a styrene and an acrylonitrile as constituent units. The method for forming an image uses the sheet. Or, the image receiving sheet comprises a porous resin layer and an image receiving layer containing an acrylic resin having a styrene and an acrylonitrile as constituent units. The method for forming an image uses the sheet. |
