<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and inexpensive heat retaining structure body for retaining the heat of a surface or an inner part relative to radiant cooling at night and automatically absorbing and storing external heat in the daytime and a heat retaining device using it. SOLUTION: Solution filling chambers 13 in a hollow structure main body 10 are filled with aqueous solution S including a guest compound producing an inclusion hydrate. Heat is retained at temperature above 0 deg.C by latent heat generated when the hydrate C is produced at temperature not lower than 0 deg.C. Further, the hydrate C is melted due to the rise of temperature or sunshine R in the daytime to absorb heat and store heat.</p> |
