PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a polyester resin compsn. excellent in dispersibility of particles and in intrinsic viscosity retention by feeding a polyester resin and particles having specified particle sizes at a specified temp. to a vented kneader extruder having a plurality of kneading zones including a neutral-type kneading disk, causing the ingredients to pass through a specified area of the kneading zones, further adding a polyester resin, and continuing kneading. SOLUTION: A polyester resin and particles having an average particle size of 0.01-5μm are fed to a vented kneader extruder having a plurality of kneading zones including at least one neutral-type kneading disk, of which the ratio W/D of lead width W to screw diameter D per each disk is 0.3-1.0, and are melt kneaded. In this process, after the particles and the resin in a wt. less than that of the particles are fed and are caused to pass through at least a length of 2.0D in the extruder while the in-barrel temp. of the first kneading zone is being kept at the m.p. of the polyester resin±10 deg.C, the rest of the resin is fed to be melt kneaded in the second kneading zone. |
