PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural/horticultural irrigation system designed to irrigate a plurality of sites once a day in a specified period of time. SOLUTION: This irrigation system is made up from a water tank 6, a water reservoir vessel 1, an inversely U-shaped siphon tube 3, a trapping vessel 2, and a hermetic vessel 4, wherein a constant level is ensured in the water reservoir vessel 1 with water dripped from the water tank 6, the trapping vessel 2 is situated below the water reservoir vessel 1, and one end of the siphon tube 3 is inserted into the water reservoir vessel 1, while the other end into the trapping vessel 2, the hermetic vessel 4 and the siphon tube 3 are made to communicate via an air tube 5 with each other, and there are provided piping ports on the outer peripheral wall of the trapping vessel 2 and, through the corresponding piping tubes 3c, various sites can be sprinkled with water. |
