PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a double-sided adhesive tape free from problem of tape breakage even in high speed processing and capable of efficiently detecting a paper-joining part by a metal detector at finishing stage when the tape is used as a tape for joining paper by applying a tacky agent to the both surfaces of a specific substrate. SOLUTION: Adhesive agents 1 and 1 are applied to the both surfaces of a substrate obtained by applying a film resin 2 onto at least one side of a metal foil 3 having 5-15μm thickness to provide the objective tape. A release paper 4 is preferably put on either one surface of the tape. When the tape is used as a tape for joining paper in processing of paper, joining of paper is smoothly carried out even under high speed processing and removal of the tape at finishing state is made ready and workability of paper processing is remeakably improved. The tape for paper joining is used for joining rolled paper to another rolled paper when paper is fed in rolled state in processing of paper comprising applying an agent to the surface of either one surface of paper as a substrate.
