PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image displaying device with which the state of a booklet can be checked in a short period of time at a low cost, a printing and book binding device in which the image displaying device is used, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: A worker assigns the finishing of a booklet in an image displaying program. As a result, the image of the booklet, which is the simulation of a booklet accompanied by covers and line boards in accordance with the above-mentioned assignment, is displayed. When staplers ST are displayed near the back cover, it is proved that an assigned booklet is a side stitched one shown in figure (a). When staplers ST are displayed at the middle of an open booklet, it is proved that an assigned booklet is a saddle stitched one. Thus, without the actual production of a booklet, the finished state of the booklet can be seen.
