PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating composition capable of coating the surface of a material such as a joint sealing material for the interior and exterior of buildings, a puttying material used for repairing or the like and imparting antifouling properties, weatherability, water resistance, air tightness, color fastness, or the like, to those materials, and provide aerosol cans filled with the coating composition. SOLUTION: The coating composition is used for coating the surface of a sealing material or a puttying material and comprises (a) an organosilane or a hydrolyzed product of the organosilane and (b) a silyl group-containing vinyl-based polymer having a silyl group having a silicon atom bound to a hydrolyzing group and/or hydroxyl group as main ingredients. The aerosol cans are filled with this coating composition.
