PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take out flesh from the shell of a crab by forming a knife part whose blade edge is turned upward on a front end side of a handle part so that a pair of blade edges are arranged side by side at intervals on left and right sides and disposing a supporting member at the front end of the handle part so as to cover the upper side of the knife part in eaves state. SOLUTION: When this knife is used, a handle part 1 of a shell cutting knife A is grasped with one hand, and a pair of knife parts 2.2 are faced to one end part of a shell of a lobster/crab with sell held by the other hand. Next, the knife parts 2.2 are inserted along an inside face on an upper peripheral surface side of the shell and an operation that the handle part 1 is rotated upward with a tip part of a supporting member 3 abutted on an upper surface of the shell as a fulcrum from this state is repeated by successively advancing the shell cutting knife A. As a result, the shell is cut out by the blade edges of a pair of parallel knife parts 2.2, subsequently, the knife parts 2.2 are put along a joint formed on the shell, a scratching member 4 at the other end of the knife A is inserted and flesh in the shell is taken out.
