PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand drier capable of drying hands while efficiently scattering water droplet on the hands and arms and being convenient and usable comfortably in drying the arms. SOLUTION: This hand drier is formed into a structure in which a hand slot 15 opens to the sides of the device, whereby the user can insert an arm into the hand slot 15 from the side of the device. The arm inserted crosses a deep outlet 45 and hot air passed through the deep outlet 45 comes in contact with the arm from the end of the arm, efficiently blowing away water droplet on the entire arm and drying the arm. The hot air passed through a front outlet 41 forms an air curtain to separate the slot 15 from the user. The hot air passed through the deep outlet 45 blows away water on the arm, and the water blown away is prevented from scattering toward the user (front) from the hand slot 15.
