PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail fastening device capable of laying a number of long rails even for an existing railway. SOLUTION: First and second rotary members 8 and 12 are supported so as to slide on a support 6 erected between a plurality of long rails 1, and first and second balance beams 22 and 26 bulged in both sides of the support 6 are supported to be swung on the first and second rotary members 8 and 12. Pressing beams 28, 30, 58 and 60 over the plurality of long rails are supported to be swung in both sides of the first and second balance beams 22 and 26. A conical spring 90 is provided for pressing the first and second balance beams 22 and 26 to press the pressing beams 28, 30, 58 and 60 to the long rails, and a cylinder 101 is provided to release the pressing by the conical spring 90.
