PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for opening and closing an aeration port in which its structure is simple, the number of component parts of the device is small, opening and closing operation is easily carried out, the device is arranged within a thickness between an outer panel and an inner panel, and a projecting amount of it out of the outer panel is reduced. SOLUTION: A door 13 for opening and closing an aeration port 12 is pivotally supported by a rubber hinge 15 arranged at the inner surface of an outer panel 8 at the lower part of the aeration port 12. A receiving member 16 arranged between the outer panel 8 at the upper part of the aeration port 12 and the inner panel 7 is formed with an outer panel side engaging hole 17 for engaging the door 13 at the closed position and an inner panel side engaging hole 18 for engaging the door 13 at the opened position. Then, the engaging rod 22 for engaging both engaging holes 17, 18 is arranged at the door 13 is such a way that it can be moved in an upward or downward direction and at the same time a coil spring 23 for biasing the engaging rod 22 in an upward direction is installed.
