PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting apparatus capable of safely replacing a cutter without the fear of an injury or the like by the cutter. SOLUTION: Four openings 74a, 74b, 76a, 76b are formed at the upper part of the side wall 64c of a cutter holder so as to be arranged up and down as well as left and right and the engaging projections 72c, 72d of a pair of arms 72a, 72b upwardly extending from the part near to the side wall 64C of a cutter slide 72 are selectively fitted in the openings 74a, 74b, 76a, 76b.
