PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a boost ratio and to prevent the occurrence of drag of a brake pad. SOLUTION: A motor 8 composed of a stator 25 and a rotor 26 and a ball lamp mechanism 7 consisting of ring plates 10 and 11, a rotation plate 17, and balls 22 and 23 interposed therebetween are arranged in a housing 4. When the rotation plate 17 is rotated by the rotor 26 of the motor 8, the ring plate 10 of a ball lamp mechanism 7 presses a brake pad 30 against a disc rotor 2 through a press plate 27 and the ring plate 11 presses a brake pad 31 against the disc rotor 2 through a cover 6, the housing 4, and the claw part 5 thereof. Through utilization of the ball lamp mechanism 7, a boost ratio is increased. Further, by uniformly moving the brake pads 30 and 31, the drag of the brake pad is prevented from occurring. |
