PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly jig device for a cathode ray tube for mounting each funnel and each pane of glass to a frame to proceed welding operations for the frit seal part of the cathode ray tube, and for demounting each funnel and each pane of glass from the frame wherein its setting space is made smaller, and its coats incurred are lowered. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a transferring device equipped with a holding part capable of holding horizontally each funnel FU and each pane of glass, the joining surfaces of which are joined together, a moving means moving the holding part 8 in the horizontal and vertical directions, and with a positioning unit 81 which holds a frame 61 while the frame 61 is inclined so as to allow the holding plate of the frame 61 to be horizontal.
