PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavator easily built up and installed, easily removable upon the completion of work, having a mechanism for surely impeding the rotation of a rotary swivel in the excavator with the rotary swivel. SOLUTION: An excavator provided with a rotary swivel 3 has a rotation impeding means for impeding the rotation of the rotary swivel 3. The rotation impeding means impedes the rotation of the rotary swivel 3, connecting the rotary swivel 3 side to the boom side 8 by connecting mechanism combining a universal joint with a connecting member bent in the lengthwise direction but not bent in the width direction, and a screw can be bent three-dimensionally to the boom side 8 by a coupling provided at the middle of the rotary swivel 3 side and boom side 8.
