PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector including a hot water output section hood wherein a passage in the hot water output section hood can be opened and closed with only one damper plate upon melting and hot water effusion, whereby heat loss upon melting is suppressed and secure dust collection is ensured from harmful gas upon hot water effusion. SOLUTION: A damper plate 41 is supported freely to rock, and open and close via a damper shaft 4. An opening/closing mechanism 42 is provided on a one side outer surface of a hot water effusion section hood 13. The opening/ closing mechanism 42 comprises a prime mover wheel 46 fixed to a prime mover shaft 45, a driven wheel 47 fixed to a damper shaft 43, and a chain 48 wound around both wheels 46, 47. A weight 50 is fixed to the prime mover wheel 46, and when a furnace body 1 is inclined for effusion of hot water, the prime mover wheel 46 is relatively inclined with respect to the hot water effusion hood 13. Inclination operation of the prime mover wheel 46 is amplified with the aid of both wheels 46, 47 to change over the damper plate 41 to a full open state until the furnace body 1 is inclined up to 45 degree.
