PURPOSE: A hydraulic pressure control device of an automatic transmission is provided to control a shifted hydraulic pressure for each gearshift and lock-up only through four solenoid valves, so a structure is simplified and a manufacturing cost is reduced. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic pressure control device comprises: a control valve(102) of line pressure to supply the oil pressure adjusted to line pressure for a manual valve(101); a pilot valve(103) to control line pressure adjusted by the control valve of line pressure into internal pilot pressure; solenoid valves(109¯114) to drain the oil supplied from the pilot valve to control the pilot pressure; control valves(106¯109) of operating elements to guide the oil pressure into each operating element; a safety valve(119) to prevent the oil supply into other operating elements; accumulators(115¯118) to be equipped between the control valves of operating elements and the direction change valve to prevent the operating shock; a reduction valve(104) of a torque converter to reduce the oil pressure toward a torque converter through a line pressure valve; a lock-up valve(105) to induct the oil from an oil pump into the lock-up clutch; a direction change valve(120) to be controlled by line pressure.
