PURPOSE: An electronic control method for the malfunction of a crank angle sensor is provided to prevent a complete unable state due to the malfunction of a crank angle sensor while driving a vehicle and fatal damage of an engine control system by outputting a fail signal from an electronic control unit to control an engine according to the fail signal, thereby improving the durability of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: In an electronic control method for the malfunction of a crank angle sensor, a warning element is operated for informing of an abnormal output of a CAS(Crank Angle Sensor) signal between falling edges of a TDC(Top Dead Center) in a section, and a CAS pulse signal, of which period is changed by a previous signal period, is set temporarily as a new reference value for controlling an engine normally.
