PURPOSE: A semiconductor ROM apparatus is provided to read a data at high speed and integrate a data highly. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus includes first bit lines, at least two array blocks, a plurality of first selecting switches and a plurality of second selecting switches. Each of the two array blocks includes a plurality of second bit lines and memory cells which are in parallel connected between two close bit lines of the second bit lines. The plurality of first selecting switches are connected between one end of an even bit line of the second bit lines and one end of an even bit line of the first bit lines supplied between the second bit lines. Odd second bit lines of a pair of close two array blocks of the array blocks are electrically connected. Each of the plurality of second selecting switches is connected between odd first bit lines supplied between the odd second bit lines of the second bit lines and the two odd second bit lines close to each of the odd first bit lines.
