PROCESS FOR PREPARING THERMOPLASTIC RESIN HAVING A GOOD IMPACT RESISTANCE, FLUIDITY AND LOW BRIGHTNESS

PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin useful as automobile interior finish, has good impact resistance, fluidity, low brightness by adding styrene-acrylonitrile resin into ABS resin having a different size of particle. CONSTITUTION: ABS resin(A) is prepared by graft-polymerization of 50- 60 weight % of butadiene rubber latex having 0.25- 0.35 micrometer of particle size comprising 70- 95 % gel content of butadiene or styrene-butadiene copolymer. ABS resin(B) is prepared by graft-polymerization of 70- 90 weight % of coagulated rubber polymer latex having 0.30- 0.40 micrometer of particle size and less than 70 % of gel content and 30- 10 weight % of the monomer compound. The thermoplastic resin composition comprises ABS resin(A), ABS resin(B) and styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer resin(C) in the ratio of 10-30 weight parts: 30-10 weight parts: 60- 70 weight parts.
