PURPOSE: A method for recycling old corrugated container by treating old corrugated container using amylase-based enzyme is provided, thereby accelerating dehydration of reclaimed paper material capable of improving quality and productivity of corrugate board. CONSTITUTION: In a method for recycling old corrugated container, 0.01 to 0.1% by weight of amylase-based enzyme based on the total weight of dry old corrugated container is introduced into waste paper material. The amylase-based enzyme isα-amylase-based enzyme obtained from Bacillus licheniformis or Bacillus subtilis alone or mixtures thereof in a weight ratio of 1:9 to 9:1.
