PURPOSE: A structure of radiator upper tank is provided to achieve an improved radiation effectiveness of the radiator by discharging the air bubble generated during circulation of water coolant in a rapid and efficient manner. CONSTITUTION: An upper tank(1) of a radiator comprises a cap(2) arranged at the upper center of the upper tank, an inlet(3) formed at the front surface of the upper tank, and diaphragms(5,5') having holes(4,4') and which are fixed in the inner space of the upper tank. The holes penetrated through the diaphragm have diameters decreasing as they go from the upper portion toward the lower portion of the diaphragm. The water coolant flow causes a collision due to diaphragms with holes, thus allowing the air bubble produced during circulation of water coolant to be rapidly discharged.
