PURPOSE: A shift lever and a shift cable coupling structure is provided to remove bending phenomenon of the shift cable generated between yokes of the shift cables in shift lever bracket fixing unit of the shift cable according to rotation of the shift lever. CONSTITUTION: A straight line moving unit is engaged to pull and push the shift cable on an end of a shift cable(1), and a connect link(3) engaged between a shift lever(2) and the straight line moving unit. To change a shift range, the shift lever is rotated and motion of the shift lever is delivered to a transmission through the shift cable. The shift cable delivers manipulation force of the shift lever to the transmission as not generating bending angle by rotation of the connect link and moving of the straight line moving unit. Change of angle and height between the shift lever and the shift cable is generated between the shift lever and an end portion of the shift cable by the rotation of the shift lever. A slider(4) of a linear guide(5) is pulled and laid by rotating an engage unit of both ends of the connect link through the connect link to absorb the change of the angel and the height.
